GLOBAL BANKING ATLAS · INFORMATION DIRECTORY
Global bank data index, not an appointment commitment.
Asset size index of 100 large banks, 64 regional regulatory portals, and directories of institutions in three regions. Verify the institution first, then discuss the scope of acceptance based on actual identity and business.
Size ranking does not represent account opening eligibility, service quality, or bank recommendation; inclusion does not indicate cooperation with RGYS, nor does it indicate acceptance of non-residents or availability for appointments.

Ranking Source and Statistical Criteria
This index uses “The world's largest banks by assets, 2025,” published by S&P Global Market Intelligence on 15 April 2025. Rankings are calculated by total assets rather than Tier 1 capital; for most banks, the statement assets are as of 31 December 2024. S&P makes best-effort pro forma adjustments for recently completed or pending mergers, acquisitions and disposals with asset transfers of at least USD 1 billion; non-USD statements are translated into USD at period-end exchange rates and handled according to their reported presentation basis, without eliminating differences among accounting standards. The corresponding statement date for Canadian banks is 31 January 2025; for some Australian banks, 30 September 2024; and for individual Chinese banks, as shown in the source table.
